Résumé	The complexity of the problem of ensuring good performance of brick masonry as to bond strength and rain penetration are demonstrated in part by the results now reported from controlled tests in which several of the principal factors operative at the time of laying have been varied systematically. Specifically, the effect of varying the "time", "tap", and "flow" factors was studies, this report records the results of these studies.
