Résumé | The sheet formation is the most critical stage in the TSEBM, as the final dimensions of the blow molded part is directly related the initial extrudate sheet shape. A better understanding of the sheet swell phenomena will ultimately lead to improvements in the prediction of the extrusion process. Consequently, the development of a robust simulation tool of sheet formation in TSEBM remains a challenging task, especially when it comes to industrial production rates featuring. The numerical validation, in terms of length and width extruded sheet distribution, is performed by comparing prediction solutions to experimental measurements obtained with different processing parameters. |
