Abstract | Discrepancies and lack of detail exist in the current standards that specify the sound sources to be used in reverberation room measurements of transmission loss and absorption coefficients. This note describes the test set-up and the transmission loss and absorption measurements made to examine the effects of multiple loudspeakers. The results demonstrate that there are good reasons for using multiple speakers in these types of tests. |
