Abstract | Infiltration and ventilation have a critical influence on indoor air quality and thermal comfort. This session will present an overview of the causes and effects of infiltration. It will then examine mechanisms to manage humidity efficiently and examine the effect of construction materials on indoor air quality. The presentation will conclude with a discussion of the possibilities presented by existing and emerging simulation technologies for improved design. |
