Abstract
This paper identifies the various sources of rain leakage in windows, and offers design suggestions for minimizing this leakage. Examples are given to illustrate the features that can be incorporated in window design to improve rain-leakage resistance. The design features were evolved from rain- leakage tests performed on a number of modified proprietary windows at the Division of Building Research.
