| Abstract | Studies have been undertaken in order to correlate pressuremeter tests with laboratory data on undisturbed samples and with the analysis of the behaviour of structures. It has been observed that the preconsolidation pressure derived from consolidation tests is also evidenced by pressuremeter field tests. The comparison of triaxial compression, static penetrometer and pressuremeter tests as well as the analysis of deformations and of failures of structures suggest that pressuremeter tests offer satisfactory information for the cases studied. |
