| Abstract | A fatal fire occurred in March of 2001 and it was determined that the fire in question began with the ignition of a wicker chair. The National Research Council of Canada was asked to conduct fire tests on two wicker chairs that were identical to the one that was involved in the fire to determine their burning characteristics. This report provides the results of these tests. |
