AbstractComputer aided design (CAD) and 3D solid models are becoming more popular in engineering design, but user skill and knowledge is required to develop the scripts and macros needed for present design systems. This paper describes a prototype system developed to automate the development of models by using an interface to integrate application programs and construction methods.
