Abstract | This report is aimed to produce a computer code for simulating the efficient displacement of broken ice pieces as the last phase of icebreaking process in continuous mode. The program for computing the motion of ice fragments around and beneath the icebreaker is prepared in a flexible style to be accessible for future renovations and additions. This program is to be used in connection with other software packages to generate input data files for hull form and for water flow. In addition, a visualized dynamic graphic system has been developed to show the ice fragment trajectories along the ship hull on an IRIS workstation. |
