AbstractThe impact of deteriorating pipes on water quality in the distribution network has not been consistently taken into account in decision-making process for pipe renewal. This paper reports on an on-going research project to investigate the effects of aging water mains on water quality in distribution networks and integrating it into the prioritization of pipes renewal decision-making process.
