AbstractThis report presents a description of the purpose, procedure and results of the Fishing Vessel Capsizing Project performed at the Institute for Marine Dynamics (IMD) in the summer of 1998. The project was established to aid the development of computational tools for improved prediction of large-amplitude responses of small fishing vessels in extreme sea conditons.
