AbstractAn opportunity to study masonry mortar under field conditions was provided by the construction in late 1966, of an extension to Shirreff Hall, the women's residence at Dalhousie University. The masonry work was started in mid November 1966 during the period when masonry work on the Atlantic Regional Laboratory extension was at its peak.
