Abstract
This report has been prepared to serve as a record of the existing mechanical services for the area of the Norman Wells townsite occupied by the Northern Research Station, N.R.C. as well as of the revisions to these services which are proposed for construction in 1956. These revisions will provide water, steam, and sewer connections to the two buildings, laboratory and residence, constructed in 1955, and will complete the permanent construction planned for the Station, which provided facilities for the permafrost studies of the Division in the Mackenzie valley area.
