AbstractThe relative humidites over saturated solutions of ammoniumchloride, copper chloride, sodium bomide, calcium nitrate, sodium iodide, magnesium chloride, potassium acetate, calcium bromide and lithium chloride have been measured in the temperature range from 0 to 90°F. A calibrated dunmore type humidity sensor was placed in each sealed container over a quantity of the saturated solution. The sensor resistance was observed until equilibrium was reached. During the period of observation, the temperature of the containers was closely controlled. After use, the calibration of the sensors was checked.
