AbstractThe effect on weathering on the adhesion of granules on shingles was studied with reference to four samples obtained from shingled roofs that had undergone various durations of natural weathering, ranging between six and twenty-nine years. The results showed an increase in the adhesion of granules, which suggested that a different cycle of hot/cold temperatures could simulate natural condition.
