Abstract | Experiments were carried out to determine the fire resistance of hollow steel columns filled with high strength concrete (HSC). The results of eight full-scale fire resistance experiments are described in this report. The main study variables were the column dimensions, load intensity and concrete reinforcement. These studies were conducted as part of a research program aimed at determining the fire performance ofHSC-filled hollow steel columns. |
