Abstract | We discuss magnetoconductance oscillations arising from transmission and reflection of current via edge states which are confined within lateral quantum dots by entrance and exit port barriers. An interplay of several resonant processes involving spin-resolved edge states determines the evolution of the oscillations as a function of the conductance of the barriers. © 1993 The American Physical Society. |
