Abstract | Air change rates were measured in a two-storey detached house during the operation of various types of mechanical fresh-air ventilation systems. Two balanced systems (supply equals exhaust) and two exhaust-only systems were studied. Expressions were developed relating the house air change rate under winter conditions to the forced ventilation rate and the infiltration rate due to wind and temperature differences. |
