Abstract | Inconsistencies in the ITS-90 interpolations above 0.01 °C have been investigated. Thirty-five standard platinum resistance thermometers are used to determine the magnitude of inconsistencies in this range with the exception of the overlap region of the water-zinc and water-aluminum sub-ranges. The results show inconsistencies that are less 4.1 mK. Simpler representations of ten of the fifteen inconsistency functions above 0.01 °C are presented by means of factoring and extremum analysis. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC. |
