AbstractThis memorandum was presented at the ITTC 1996 Workshop on Deep Water Structures in Trondheim, Norway. The presentation demonstrated the technique of truncating tendons in TLP model testing. A rationale for the procedure is presented together with sample results from the tests. The technique provided good agreement between the predicted and measure high frequency responses and was recommended as at testing method for TLP structures.
