Abstract	This article describes NRC-IRC software programs which help provide users with the capabilities to calculate sophisticated light, materials emissions and acoustics impacts on indoor environments at the design stage. They also enable designers and manufacturers to create products achieving the higher level of performance sought by developers, owners and occupants. They also help facility managers operate interior spaces that maximize the comfort, productivity, health, and safety of occupants.
