AbstractThe quality of indoor air as it affects health has become an important issue in Canadian public and scientific circles where concerns have been closely linked to energy conservation measures. This paper outlines Canadian indoor air quality research as it is presently being developed in the context of the government funded building energy conservation research program where it ranks as the top priority activity. While the primary effort is now on UFFI research, this will shift to the broader indoor air quality problem over the next few years and with this in mind, some priority activities are suggested.
